PLAY LIKE THE PROS with this step-by-step guide to creating your own PGA Tour-like Yardage Guide. Available on Kindle! We’ll show you how to capture images of any golf course from Google Earth, then paste them into the pre-built templates that come with the book.
We’ll also share a few secrets about how to plan your shots for each hole so play smarter and score better.
It’s a fun project that takes about an hour. And at $1.99 it’s less than the cost of a single golf ball (which you’ll save the first time you play!).

Hi Eric–Came across your book on creating yardage guides on Amazon. Fantastic. Any chance you or anyone you work with can create a specific book for a fee? I’m not the most technology proficient but looking to creating books for Riviera and Ojai in the LA area. Thank you. Best, Dave
Don’t know if someone would be willing to create a yardage book for a fee.
I’ll leave this comment out there and see if anybody responds.
Maybe not for a fee, but to provide to weekend warriors I play with.
Please send templates.
If you need technical help or support, such as getting the downloadable templates, please send an email to Support @ Targetcenteredgolf.Zendesk.com
Thanks!
Isn’t it illegal to use Google Earth to make yardage books? You can’t sell them, right?
Hi James,
Google gives permission to use images for personal, non-commercial use. It’s probably not a good idea to try to make yardage books for resale. You’d probably make more money using them to beat your buddies in a friendly Nassau anyway. Have fun!
