Radar Chronicles video 1: Golf Study Kickoff
Eric Jones and Leith Anderson discuss their Radar Study and how it can help golfers improve faster. The Study is the first of its kind. Using three sophisticated radar systems from Flightscope the Study will collect performance data from six participants, focusing on four of the most important shots in golf: Driver, mid-approach shots (150 yards), Long Approach (190 yards), and Scoring Shots (75 to 125 yards). Impact is often referred to as “the Moment of Truth.” The Study seeks to determine if golfers can improve faster by changing impact directly using precise radar feedback, rather then the traditional method of swing instruction where the movement is changed in the hopes of influencing impact. This is the first installment of the Radar Chronicles, which will cover the 8-week long Study.
