HOW TO PRACTICE YOUR GOLF SWING LIKE THE PROS
This is the first book I published on Amazon. It’s all about practicing smarter so that you get the biggest return for the time you invest on the range. It’s not too long – about 60 pages – so you can read it in one sitting and then take the ideas right to the range. You will definitely approach your practice sessions differently – for the better – after reading How To Practice. Click How To Practice to read more and find the links for Kindle or the pdf.
HOW TO MAKE A YARDAGE BOOK
This is a book that started out as a project to help my advanced and tournament level juniors prep better for competitions. They needed a way to plan their strategy for courses they’d never seen before and especially in cases where they didn’t get to play a practice round. To be honest, just getting them to think about how they might want to play a hole before they were standing on the tee was a major accomplishment. The instructions for making their own yardage book solved that. Going thru the exercise really helped them learn to see the hole in a different light. But putting the entire book together was a lot more difficult than I thought. Figuring out how to work with images and then getting the layout template right took a lot of painstaking trial and error. My thanks to Dick Barry for his relentless pursuit.
STRATEGIC GOLF: COURSE NAVIGATION
This book is the first in a 3-part series that all fit under the umbrella of Strategic Golf. I wrote these books because hardly anybody talks about strategy, yet it has as much if not more impact on your scores than the golf swing.
The first in the series is Course Navigation. I call it that because that is what it should be called, not Course Management. You can’t “manage” a golf course. But you CAN navigate your way around it. Knowing a few simple rules of thumb will help you score better and more consistently when you play.
STRATEGIC GOLF: GAME MANAGMENT
This is the second in the Strategic Golf series. Game management is all about knowing what you are capable of doing and then making the right choices on the course. Game Management and Course Navigation intersect to form your strategy.
