EAT, DRINK, GOLF

Golf is a social sport, even though we play as individuals. Going to the range tends to be even more of an individual effort. Wouldn’t it be great if practice time and social time were combined?

That’s why we came up with the idea of starting Thursday Socials. We combine a little golf instruction and practice with food and drinks in a fun and social setting. Chip ‘n Sip wine tasting, Putts ‘n Pints beer tasting, Smack ‘n Snack food tasting – we’ll have a variety of themes. We’ll be showcasing a variety of local businesses from the Castro Valley area as well as event sponsors.

We’ll meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month thru October, starting at 5:30 and going to 6:30-ish. Check with the calendar in the Pro Shop for specific dates. Cost is minimal – usually around $20.00. We’ll have contests and prizes as well.
